  • Provide training on intimate partner violence, technology facilitated abuse, cultural humility, trauma informed services, technology use by teens and children and social justice.

  • Provide expert level consultation to community programs, victim service agencies, and national technical assistance providers on intimate partner violence, technology facilitated abuse, cultural humility, trauma informed services and the use of technology in victim service organizations.

  • Provided expert technical assistance to domestic violence and sexual assault state coalitions, local domestic violence programs, victim service providers, law enforcement, attorneys and prosecutors on the following topics: abuse facilitated via technology by abusers, safety strategies for survivors using technology best practices on the use of technology for victim service providers, and other topics related to the use of technology in the context of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

  • Built strategic alliances with federal and state policymakers that resulted in the creation of task forces and work groups on the following topics: technology privacy and safety and its impact on victims of crime, databases, body worn cameras, social media and legislation, and encryption.

  • Developed tools and resources for programs and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault on topics such as choosing between databases and dedicated services and online privacy and safety videos. 

  • Provided content and administrative support for the annual Technology Summit for the National Network to End Domestic Violence serving over 200 participants.

  • Created resources on topics related to technology and violence against women for victims of crime, advocates, and police jurisdictions.

  • Provided subject matter expertise to private industries on the intersections of domestic violence and technology which included: content development, advising on digital safety boards, product testing and feedback.

·      Oversaw and managed the National Resource Center for Reaching Victims (NRC) through the Office of Victims of Crime webinar series. Worked closely with the internal design team and the Steering Committee.
·      Provided pre-conference planning and onsite support of technical assistance, training, and logistics to the NRC staff and participants at the National Center for Victims of Crime National Training Institute to over 200 attendees and faculty.
·      Served on the NRC internal design team with the Center’s Director, Deputy Director, Associate Director, and Sr. Program Associate.
·      Provided training via webinars, workshops at national and state conferences, and other in-person opportunities, as needed and relevant.
·      Fostered and maintained relationships with key stakeholders in the crime victims’ field with an emphasis on individuals who have expertise in serving underserved survivors and crime survivors themselves.
·      Provided technical assistance in the form of individual phone/video consultations and on-site assistance, as needed and relevant.
·      Managed, updated, and produced content for the End Abuse Website including coding information in the back-end of the website

TECHNOLOGY SAFETY PROGRAM SPECIALIST, FCADV

  • Provided regional trainings for 42 certified domestic violence centers in the state of Florida on technology, stalking, cyberstalking and advocacy with proven success evidenced by consistent high attendee evaluations.

  • Provided trainings on behalf of the Attorney General's Office for victim advocates on technology, stalking, cyberstalking and advocacy.

  • Developed revised and distributed resources for community partners and certified centers on cyberstalking, stalking, and advocacy.

  • Developed multiple training tools to serve the special needs of constituencies including an online safety planning tool for survivors, a resource guide on Safety Planning Around Technology for survivors and advocates in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole versions, and a mobile website for survivors and advocates to access information digitally.

  • Created training curricula for advocates and law enforcement to facilitate recognizing the signs of stalking and cyberstalking, defining strategies for safety planning around technology, identifying current technologic advances used by stalkers and abusers, and youth and children's use of technology.

  • Monitored and evaluated the program effectiveness of the Palm Beach County Anti-Stalking Collaborative, Lakeview Behavioral Health Center and the LAV Project of the Miami-Dade Legal Aid initiatives related to stalking, cyberstalking, and legal advocacy.
