Wow! It has been quite some time since I have last created a blog. I quit a job, got another job, and now have decided to more formally work on RG Williams Consulting. What makes this launch different, is that now I can speak and work more freely on behalf of Black and Brown victims of crime. I can take a stand, and radically push for change on behalf of those who are most marginalized.
This transition came with much nervousness, but also excitement. Does the field need another consultant like me? Am I ready to take the leap and begin working on behalf of Black and Brown women in a capacity that allows me to speak and live in my truth without fear of repercussions? Will there be work for me to do?
All of these questions and more still linger. But one thing is true. I know that my voice is needed. My experiences are needed, and I have a platform, expertise and wisdom to give organizations, communities, partners, and those working to end violence the much needed support and honesty many need to really make effective change on behalf of victims and survivors.
What better way to start this next chapter, than with me attending the rally on November 7, 2023, urging the SCOTUS to reconsider their stance on allowing access to guns for domestic abusers.
Advocacy, fighting for the rights of Black and Brown victims, and making good trouble, doesn't stop until these rallies, these protests, and my work is no longer needed.
So on today, RG Williams Consulting is officially and publicly open for business. Learn more about my work and how I can support you and your organization by taking a tour of my website.

In Liberation for All,
Rachel
