New Year, Same Drive

This new year started off with a literal bang. As someone who lives in the DC metro area, the uprising and sedition that took place on January 6, 2021, was another indicator that there is still more work to do.

I am excited to see what this new year holds, still working to be a voice for survivors and advocates. Still holding perpetrators of abuse accountable. Still holding white supremacists who refuse to give up their position of power in social justice spaces accountable. Still with the same drive to center the margins and expanding the reach of minoritized communities to better serve survivors of crime.
